The Panavia Tornado ADV is actually a general moniker referring to a group of Tornado jets that are designed for air defense. (ADV standing for Air Defence Variant) This group of jets include the Tornado F3, so the appearance of this plane in the games is... Odd, especially considering it's in the same game as the Tornado F3. Regardless. The ADV series of Tornado craft were retired in 2011, being replaced by the more multi-role oriented Eurofighter Typhoon. This aircraft only appears in Airforce Delta Storm.

Design[]

It's a Tornado; long profile, variable sweep wings, single canard, twin engine design. It's the same as all of the other Tornadoes. Unlike the other two Tornado variants appearing in Airforce Delta Storm this variant is only equipped with one cannon.

Performance[]

Of the Tornadoes in Storm, this is the best option. However, in the end, that isn't saying a whole lot. You've most likely unlocked aircraft that are far superior to this by this point, since it appears in Chapter II. It isn't a bad plane, but it's just... Very average when you've already unlocked planes that are most likely far superior to this. It's a decent plane, so if you really want to use a Tornado, this is your best bet. Speed is the primary highlight, while other stats are decent.
