- "You want to bomb and dogfight at super-sonic speeds? You need this supersonic test bomber. Expensive, but what a beauty!"
The British Aircraft Corporation TSR-2 (Shortened as "TSR2" in-game) is a prototype Cold War-era bomber and reconnaissance aircraft developed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It fell victim to ever rising costs and inter-service squabbling over Britain's future defense needs. It was scrapped in 1965. It only appears in Airforce Delta Strike and can be used by Rick Campbell.
Design[]
This is a very interesting-looking craft. It has an almost futuristic design to it, with a long, narrow body with somewhat short wings, a strange, "plate-like" design over many parts of the craft. (Such as above the cockpit and around the wings) It's a twin-engined craft with a single vertical stabilizer and two rear wings.
Performance[]
A very okay craft. Stats are above-average in many aspects, and it does not have internal bomb-bays for the missiles (only the bombs), which is a help. However, it lacks a machine gun, which can hurt its anti-air needs, should the situation call for it. It's useful for ground-bombing at the very least, so use it if you desire.
