The Su-23U Furnace is a fictional Sukhoi craft that only appears in Airforce Delta Storm. It is an odd plane unlocked most of the way through the game. It appears to be a futuristic version of the older Fitter model of Sukhoi.

Design
Like most of the fictional craft in this game, this plane is... Strange. It has two long, straight wings, and a very bizarre "spoiler-like" vertical stabilizer, similar to the A-4V Skyhawk Oval. The front-end of the craft is also evocative of the early Sukhoi crafts, having a similar design to them. It has two trapezoid-shaped front canards. It also possesses three jet engines, an oddity amongst planes.
Performance
It's okay? This plane suffers from "unlocked too late in the game" syndrome; it's unlocked in the tail end of the game, where many other superior planes have already been unlocked. That being said, nothing about the plane is bad, per se. It just has a hard time standing out amongst the other amazing planes you most likely would have unlocked by this point. Nothing deal-breaking except for the problem already stated. Get it if you want.
