"This one is the best selling interceptor. It is very smart and very much useful. I do not recommend ground attack in this baby."
Harry's description of this plane in the shop.

The Sukhoi Su-15 (NATO reporting name of "Flagon" was a Soviet twinjet supersonic interceptor, developed in the 1960s. It was a front-line aircraft, designed to replace the earlier Su-9 and Su-11 aircraft, as NATO was developing newer and more capable bombers, such as the famed B-52 Stratofortress. The Su-15TM (NATO reporting name of "Flagon-F) was an enhancement to the Su-15, featuring improved radar, enhanced aerodynamics, and a modified radome design. It was put in use in 1971. The craft as a whole was retired in 1996, with over a thousand models built. This aircraft only appears in Airforce Delta Strike, where it is usable by Rick Campbell as a final mission unlock.

Design

The Su-15TM is a particularly long aircraft, possessing somewhat small delta-shaped wings, a twinjet design, and a single vertical stabilizer. It has a large, pronounced nose, with a long pitot tube attached to the end. It looks nigh-identical to the T-58, only with a lack of the lifter jets.

Performance

It's a post-game unlock. Generally speaking, those are pretty bad. This is no exception. Stats are meh all around, and you WILL have unlocked the Su-37 for Rick by this point, which absolutely demolishes this thing in all aspects. It has the same special weapon, but far superior stats in all aspects. Mediocre crap, like basically all of the post-game unlocks.
