The Supermarine Spitfire is an aircraft that only appears in Airforce Delta Strike, where it is usable by Jamie Jones.
Origin (Real-Life)[]
The Supermarine Spitfire was a British propeller plane developed before, during, and after World War II. It was produced in greater numbers than any other British craft at the time. It had dozens of different variations; the Spitfire Mk 24 (type 356) was the final Spitfire variant; it used the Griffon-powered engine, and had improvements such as increased fuel, fittings for rockets, and other details to perfect its handling.
Design[]
Like others, the Spitfire is a typical prop plane; wide, rounded wings, a fairly round profile, and a single vertical stabilizer punctuated with two rear wings.
Performance[]
Yet another craft that fails to match up to the P-38L Lightning you have by default; the Spitfire has the same mobility, but worse thrust and defenses, being one of Jamie's most fragile planes (tied with the P-51D Mustang). So... Only use it if you're an enthusiast. Considering you're already using a prop plane as Jamie, you may as well!
