The MiG-II Fishbed zwei is a fictional variation of the MiG-21bis Fishbed that only appears in Airforce Delta Storm.

This is a very strange aircraft. It's basically composed of two MiG-21s combined together at the wings. The rear wings are also somewhat different looking as well.

This is a great plane with one enormous flaw. All of its stats are pretty high and solid... Except for Attack. This thing has literally twenty missiles. That makes it INCREDIBLY difficult to recommend, as twenty missiles simply is not enough to complete some of the missions later on down the line. Although its stats are great otherwise, the low ammo count absolutely cripples what would have otherwise been an amazing plane.

Not only that, but using vulcans is somewhat awkward too, since it fires out of both of the "bodies" of the plane, and as a result isn't centered on the crosshair in the middle of the screen.

Yeah... It's not good. Use it to unlock a secret airbase associated with it, and then never use it again.

Enemy Appearances (missions)

  • This aircraft has the fewest number of missiles among all of the playable aircraft in the game, as well as the entire Airforce Delta series.
  • 'Zwei' is German for 'two', referring to how this plane is basically two planes stuck together.
  • The Zwei bares some similarities to the real-world F-82 Twin Mustang, an American fighter consisting of two P-51 Mustang fuselages joined at the wings and tail, and the proposed Bf-109Z, a German concept for a twin-fuselage Bf-109 which never flew.
