The IAI Kfir C.7 (Hebrew: כְּפִיר‬, "Lion Cub", and mistakenly known as the Kfir C7 in Airforce Delta Storm) is an Israeli aircraft that appeared in the first two Airforce Delta games, but did not return for Airforce Delta Strike. It is a vastly modified version of the Kfir C.2. It would later be upgraded to the Kfir C.12, and so forth.

Design (All Games)[]

The Kfir is a typical single-engine craft; Delta wings, single vertical stabilizer, front canards, and a large single engine. It's quite similar in design to the likes of the Mirage; of course, considering the craft's history (These things are basically modified Mirage 5s), that makes sense.

In the PAL version of Airforce Delta Storm, this craft has a different paint scheme.

Performance[]

Airforce Delta[]

A below average starter aircraft. It's unlocked immediately after the very first mission, but... The F-5E you have is arguably better. Although the Kfir is faster than the F-5E, it has much worse mobility, making it one of the most sluggish aircraft in the game. Indeed, it has the lowest mobility stat in the original Airforce Delta. And speed isn't necessarily important, anyways... Compared to the MiG-21, it has worse power, but higher defenses and speed. But regardless, it's still a meh aircraft that will very quickly be outclassed.

Airforce Delta Storm[]

Slightly better in this game, but that's not saying a whole lot. It's got better mobility and power this time around, but it's hamstrung by poor armaments, bad defenses, and a pitiful 1 range. Once again, a starter plane that will very quickly be outclassed by most other things in your arsenal.
