- "This aircraft gained attention as one fully developed by China. This tailless canard delta fighter possesses a large wing surface and an air intake on the bottom of the fuselage. Small and light, its silhouette is reminiscent of that of the phantom Lavi."
- "No stealth capability, but still an awesome fighter attacker. Just don't let the canard wings tempt you to try a dogfight."
The Chengdu J-10 is an aircraft that appears in both Airforce Delta Storm and Airforce Delta Strike, replacing the Lavi in the latter game.
Origin (Real-Life)[]
The Chengdu J-10 is a Chinese all-weather multirole aircraft. It is believed to have been made with data from the cancelled Lavi project, however, these allegations are denied (Though critics are skeptical of the denial overall, due to many factors).
Design[]
Airforce Delta Storm[]
This plane actually has a slightly different design in Storm. It's basically a carbon copy of the Lavi looks wise, which is somewhat unrealistic. This is partially owed to the lack of public information about the J-10 at the time.
Airforce Delta Strike[]
It now has a realistic design, having the proper straight-edge delta wings. Aside from that, the design details are basically the same.
Performance[]
Airforce Delta Storm[]
A fairly below-average plane. What's funny about this plane is it's in the Sobel Airbase... Right alongside the F-15S/MT Active, which is superior to this craft in literally every department. As a result, this plane should only be purchased for completion's sake. And predictably, stats are inferior to the Lavi (Which is funny in a cosmic sort of way), which doesn't help this plane at all.
Airforce Delta Strike[]
One of Ellen's many planes, unlocked for purchase once you enter the space-portion of the game. Compared to the others, it's her only craft capable of anti-ground. What's that? Bird of Prey? Yer kidding, right? Thus, it has somewhat of a niche in that regard. However, considering the nature of the space missions, it's ultimately just somewhat outclassed in the end. It's not a bad plane, just a remarkably unremarkable plane in the end.

Trivia[]
- Despite being Ellen's plane of choice as an O.C.C. ace, this is not the plane she starts off with when she is unlocked for use; oddly enough, it's the Tornado F3, and you have to purchase this plane.
