This page is referring to the original testbed for the X-32 that appears in Airforce Delta and Airforce Delta Storm. If you're looking for the mock-up finalized X-32 (Called F/A-24A Acorn in Storm), see X-32A. Alternatively, if you're looking for the V/TOL version of that same plane, see X-32B.

The JSF X-32 is the original model of the X-32A that appears in Airforce Delta and Airforce Delta Storm. This is the original testbed for the JSF X-32. A mockup of the finalized model would be made, but the plane lost to the X-35 (Which would become the infamous F-35).

Design (All Games)[]

Airforce Delta[]

The X-32 in this game resembles its real life counterpart. It has the same wing design and vertical stabilizers, but noticeably, it has a much flatter profile than the real-life X-32, most likely due to the fact that the real aircraft had very few references at the time.

Airforce Delta Storm[]

The plane now has a more proportional bottom side, being highly bulbous and round. Aside from that, the aesthetic design is around the same.

Performance[]

Airforce Delta[]

This plane has very below-average stats for something that is unlocked so late in the game. By this point, you'll have both the YF-23 and the F-22, so the big question is, why should you bother? All of its stats are mediocre, and it has nothing going for it compared to those other two craft. Even the F-15S/MT gives it a run for its money! This is the last plane you'll unlock until you complete the game as well. Ending things with a bang, huh?

Airforce Delta Storm[]

A better showing this time around, but still nothing too special. Its stats are, again, average, but this time it has fairly impressive defense. But it's still nothing special in the end. It's unlocked by completing a hidden mission, as well. Overall, much better than its Airforce Delta counterpart in terms of stats, but it's still just a bit outclassed, since you'll probably have better by this point (Such as the F-15S/MT Active), which ultimately hurts its viability. Though, if you do want to use it, you won't be doing a disservice to yourself, as it does have fairly above average stats all around, especially when it comes to attack, defense and range. However, the F/A-24A Acorn ultimately outclasses it, and is unlocked without having to do a secret mission, to boot.
