The MiG-33 "Fulcrum" is simply a moniker given to slightly improved MiG-29 Fulcrums by the Soviets in the past in order to give the impression that improvements to their plane made them "new and improved" rather than merely "improved". Ostensibly, it is merely a MiG-29 with slight improvements in real life. In the Airforce Delta series, however, it is classified as a different plane, and in the case of Storm, boasting much more impressive stats than the MiG-29. It appears in Airforce Delta Storm and Airforce Delta Strike, in the latter seeing use by John Rundal and Pierre Gallo.
Design (Both games)[]
Predictably, the MiG-33 looks exactly to the MiG-29 - The exact same small, twin-engine design with double vertical stabilizers. There's no point in describing it, as it looks the exact same to the MiG-29.
Performance[]
Airforce Delta Storm[]
In Airforce Delta Storm, this craft can be immediately bought upon entering Eleon Airbase. It has fairly impressive stats overall, having high mobility, and decently high stats all around, save for a slightly low Attack.
Airforce Delta Strike[]
As mentioned, this plane is used by John Rundal. It is one of only two planes in John's arsenal that can use the Air-to-Surface Missile, the other being a plane you won't unlock until you clear the game with him. As a result, when you need to destroy ground targets as John, this is arguably the best choice, as it has very good stats all around, and decent anti ground attack, which is something John's other planes sorely lack for the most part. It can also hold its own in a dogfight.
