Airforce Delta Wikia

The XA/B-25F Calyx is one of the strangest fictional aircraft to appear in Airforce Delta Storm. It's unlocked very late in the game, and doesn't exactly hold up compared to... Most other planes. Ever.

Design[]

Look at this thing. This thing is unlike any other plane in the franchise. Firstly, it's the widest flyable aircraft in the entire franchise by a mile. It's so large, our "Small" image used for the Infobox is really more of a suggestion than an actual statement. It has some vague design elements from the YF-23A Black Widow II, but aside from that... This thing is its own beast, entirely.

Performance[]

One of the worst aircraft in the game, by far. It's apparently trying to be like the A-10 Warthog, but... With very little redeemable qualities outside of huge defense. At least the Warthog can turn worth a crap in these games. This thing can start turning at 4 PM and won't make a 360 until 4 AM. It's got among the lowest mobility stats in the entire damn game, and that's saying a lot. And the best part? You unlock it after the penultimate mission! Sod this thing.
