Overview[]
Due to unnaturally high energy readings, Delta is dispatched along with Bravo Squadron to investigate the Haben Ravine. This is stated to be a recon mission, though due to the unusual nature of the mission, many planes are required. After dealing with an enemy patrol unit, they investigate the ravine, locating massive land battleships developed by the 8th Experiment Army Division. Bravo Squadron is destroyed, and they are forced to maneuver around the massive ships to the exit of the ravine. After destroying the gate locks at the end of the ravine, they escape.
Walkthrough[]
This is quite a tough level, actually. You don't have much room to maneuver around the Type-G: Rols. The biggest threat in the level by far are the Type-G6: Rol-Cs; they have VERY little room to maneuver around, and the second one especially forces you into a very disadvantageous spot to avoid the next Type-G: Rol. The massive Type-G7: Rol-F at the end of the ravine is actually rather harmless; it can only shoot you. It cannot move, and can easily be ignored. Just keep your cool and take it slowly. There's very little rush. Also, don't fly over the ravine; there is a poorly explained anti aircraft net that will destroy you upon contact, as David Smith helpfully demonstrates.

Reward[]
The reward for this mission is 40,000 credits plus a variable amount depending on the number of enemies destroyed as well as the type of weapon used to take them out. If this is the last mission in Phase 2 completed, Phase 3 is unlocked with the missions Roller Games, Over the Cloud, and Rail Road if the player rests without completing it on Phase 2.
