The Su-34 (NATO reporting name of Fullback, given the moniker Platypus in the first two games) is a modified version of the Su-27, designed for anti surface attack. In Strike, it sees use by Brian Douglas.
Design (All games)[]
Like most Flankers, this craft shares many design similarities with them. The biggest difference is the much larger cockpit, being well over double the size of the original Flanker's cockpit. This is partially owed to the toilet behind the pilot's seat. The design of this craft in Strike is the exact same as the Su-32FN, aside from the different paint jobs.

Airforce Delta[]
A very below average plane. Despite being touted as a ground-attacking version of the Flanker, its defensive stats are surprisingly poor for the job, only being "decent". (And near the same level as the Su-27B and Su-37!) And even still, when you unlock this plane, there's basically nothing left to use it on, since it's tied to game completion! Worthless.
Airforce Delta Storm[]
A good deal more superior to the Airforce Delta version, having much better stats all around. It's also unlocked before you end the game, so you can actually use the thing! Stats are above average all around, aside from Attack.
Airforce Delta Strike[]
Definitely Brian's best plane. Not only does it have good stats all around, but it has an incredibly useful special weapon; Guided bombs may not seem like much, but thanks to a loophole in how the game handles cash bonuses, you'll still earn a triple-cash bonus for destroying a ground target with a bomb, despite it being guided! This, combined with its great stats, makes this one of the best anti-ground planes in the game by far.

- Enemy Su-34s appear in Federation Fleet Obstruction and Mobile Infantry. They are not required in either case.
Airforce Delta Storm[]
- A lone enemy Su-34 appears in Falling Down. It is not required. However, in the PAL version, two others appear in Lying in Wait.
Airforce Delta Strike[]
- Ecbatana uses this aircraft, primarily in the middle-half of the game. It appears in missions like Big Bird and Armed Fighting Walker.
