"This aircraft is a little peculiar. It's difficult to fly well, so I don't normally recommend it, but if you really want it..."
Harry's description of this plane in the shop.

The North American A-5 Vigilante, also known as the A3J Vigilante, is an aircraft that only appears in Airforce Delta Strike, where it is usable by Alex Levine.

Origin (Real-Life)[]

The North American A-5 Vigilante, previously known as the A3J Vigilante prior to the Tri-service designation system, was an American supersonic bomber craft developed in the 1950s. It set several records in its life, such as altitude and long-distance speed. The craft as a whole was retired in 1979, with 167 craft built.

Design[]

A fairly basic craft; it has a fairly flat profile overall with large, triangle wings. It has a twin-engine setup and a single vertical stabilizer punctuated by two moderately sized rear wings.

Performance[]

It's... Okay. It's remarkably unremarkable as a whole; FAE bombs are neat for getting good amounts of money, but that's about the only trick in its book. Stats as a whole are merely "Decent", with no standout good or bad stats, save for the anti stats. It DOES have decently high speed among Alex's planes, but otherwise... It's just... There...
