The FLINT-ROCK (a misspelling of "Flintlock" which is this craft's actual name due to a translation error) is a Konami Legacy plane that only appears in Airforce Delta Strike. It was originally featured as the player's craft in Konami's 1991 horizontally-scrolling shooter arcade game Xexex (known as Orius in North America).
This is a very odd looking craft. It has a pronounced front section with two enormous jet engines. It has a bright blue cockpit. What appear to be two red wings are actually fold-able arms, which retract in front of the craft when it applies the airbrakes. Several large curved spines jut out from the craft, and it has a large rear section located above the engines that has a vertical stabilizer on top. A second, larger stabilizer juts out from the bottom. It is predominantly gray with vermilion highlights.
This craft, in terms of performance, can best be compared to the Axelay as both have laser special weapons that possess both good accuracy and the ability to lock onto multiple targets at once, but are only usable against other aircraft. Compared to the Axelay, the FLINT-ROCK possesses better mobility and defense, but worse speed and thrust. The FLINT-ROCK also possesses internal bomb bays for its normal missiles unlike the Axelay which hurt its DPS when dealing with ground targets if you so need since you can only fire up to two missiles at a time. The FLINT-ROCK is at least effective in missions that strictly involve dogfighting with its lasers thanks to their spammability and accuracy, so use it if you desire.

- The music that plays whenever this plane is used is a soundtrack from Xexex titled "Breeze".
