The F-105D Thunderchief (Sometimes nicknamed Thud) was an American supersonic fighter/bomber craft developed and introduced in the 1950s. The F-105D (being the definitive production model) was also a follow up to the F-100 Super Sabre, being armed with machine guns and missiles, though it was more designed for high-speed low-altitude penetration. It could carry a single nuclear weapon. It was the primary attack craft of the Vietnam War, and was credited with 27.5 kills on aircraft. The aircraft was retired in 1984. This aircraft only appears in Airforce Delta Strike, being the started plane used by Holst Prendre and Pedro Glankert.
The F-105D is a single-engine craft with two swept wings, a single vertical stabilizer, and two rear wings, a typical design for the time.
Actually probably the best starter plane in the game. Stats are quite good all around, and several of Holst's other unlockable planes are actually worse than this for quite some time. As a result, when you use Holst, this will most likely be your aircraft of choice for quite some time until you unlock planes like the Tornado GR1 and the F-16XL. It's just really good.
