Battle for the Zabios Ruins is the first mission for Chairon Airbase in Airforce Delta Storm.

Walkthrough[]

The area with all the required ground targets to destroy is far north, straight ahead from where you start. They are placed in a circle around the ancient ruins and statues and have numerous bullet-firing enemies guarding them, so be careful as they keep shooting at you until your health is drained. There are four enemy planes in the sky and you have to shoot only two of them down. The mission is completed once all targets are destroyed/shot down.

Mission Objectives[]

  • Destroy/Shoot down all targets.

Reward[]

The reward for this mission is 140,000 credits plus a variable amount depending on the number of enemies taken out and, in the case of the planes, how they were taken out. The Rising Threat is unlocked by this mission. The F/A-18C Hornet and the MiG-27 Flogger J (Whose name is erroneously written as "Frogger" in-game) are also unlocked for 320,000 credits and 260,000 credits respectively.

Mission Dialogue[]

Briefing[]

A scouting squadron has reported in. They have discovered a large base near the ruins of the old Zabios Monastery. The Monastery lies on a choke point for our supply lines. Only the United Forces would build a base there. Your mission is to investigate this base and destroy it. The Zabios Monastery may be an irreplaceable monument, but this is war; it will inevitably incur some damage. Over and out.

Mission Map[]

Delta Leader: (When mission is selected on the map) The mission this time is to totally destroy the enemy base. Don't worry about any damage to nearby buildings.
